What To Buy At Aldi 2024 According to Cicely
Introduction: Hey, ATC gang! Cicely here, your Sickle Cell Warrior, bringing you into a space where inspiration meets reality. As someone living with Sickle Cell Anemia, I create content to showcase the other side of disability and to encourage you that no matter what life throws at you, you can get through it. Today, join me as we dive into a massive $300 grocery haul from Aldi, filled with essentials for a balanced and budget-friendly lifestyle.
Collaboration Shoutout: Before we jump into the haul, a quick shoutout to my collaborators, Smalltown 6 and Jessica Myrose. Check out their hauls linked in the description box over on youtube for more fantastic content. You can watch the corresponding Youtube video at the top of today’s blog post.
Grocery Haul Breakdown: I wanted to make this haul focused on essentials, especially meats to last through the of month of January. From wings to drumsticks, bacon to beef sausage, and baby back ribs, I’ve got it all covered. I also picked up some turkey breast, ground beef, and pork chops for variety.
Balancing the Cart: Being mindful of freezer space, I opted for a pack of mixed vegetables, broccoli, and mozzarella for homemade Alfredo. A variety of canned goods, including tuna and fruits, filled my cart. Bagels, butter, and cream cheese were essential for various meals, along with a selection of seasonings and condiments.
Sweet Treats and Snacks: I couldn’t resist grabbing some fruit snacks, chips, and creamer for a change. The haul includes kid-friendly snacks like burritos and apple juice, and some indulgent treats like a Mega Meat pizza and fresh strawberries for chocolate-covered delights.
Meals Planning and Variety: Exploring new Aldi finds like Black Angus steak for tacos and a range of chicken cuts for different recipes. Despite a mishap with smashed bread, I’m excited about the variety of bagels and croissants. I’ve added a couple pics of the meals I prepared in the video for inspiration.
Conclusion: That’s a wrap for this $300 Aldi grocery haul. Do you think I got my money’s worth? Let me know in the comments!
